Introduction:
BCOADC-E2 is the central E2 component of branched chain 2-oxo acid dehydrogenase complex (BCOADC), which is a mitochondrial multienzyme complex involved in the maintenance of the cellular redox state.
Patients with primary biliary cirrhosis show autoantibodies against the BCOADC-E2.
Description:
Expressed in insect Sf9 cells with total 446 AA. Mw:50KDa(calculated). N-terminal 6xHis-tag and TEV cleavage site, extra 25 AA (highlighted). Recombinant antigen for research use or manufacturing only.
Immunological Function:
As an autoantigen, BCOADC-E2 binds with IgG-type human auto-antibodies.
